Philippe Rigaux

Philippe Rigaux has been working as software architect, consultant, and researcher in private companies and public research institutes (CNAM, Univ. Paris-Sud, Univ. Dauphine, INRIA) for more than 20 years. He holds a French Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) from the University of Paris-Sud Orsay and a full Professor position at the faculty of Conservatoire national des Arts et Métiers. His background includes data structures, digital libraries and distributed data management. His DBLP record shows more than 60 publications in international conferences and conferences, including SIGMOD, VLDB, ICDE, CIKM, VLDB Journal, TKDE, etc. He also authored or co-authored 7 books, including the books Spatial Databases published in 2001 by Morgan Kaufmann, and Web Data Management, published by Cambridge University Press in 2011. He is currently CTO of Internet Memory Research.
