Mario Nemirovsky leads the Network Processors research group at BSC. His main expertise is in networks, and computer architecture. He holds 62 patents and has authored over 30 research papers. As an entrepreneur in the Silicon Valley, Mario founded several companies in routing, social networking and network processors. Since 2007 he is with BSC, in his capacity as a research professorship position holder at ICREA. He is currently collaborating with several cloud based startup companies that aim to solve the cloud virtualization, computation, and storage limitations with novel technologies.
